Welcome, Astroneers! As promised, we've got a new Major Update building on the big changes we started to introduce to the game in the Voidbreak Update back in September. We've added a new co-op Offensive that features a BIG LASER, as well as the ability to use Voice Chat with your Squad!Add to that a spooky log-in reward for October, a new fashion contest, changes to get rid of Gear breaking, and bringing back past community events, so there is plenty to cover. Let’s get into it.STATE OF THE GAMEIf you just joined us, we want to make sure you understand how much of the game has changed since the early access launch in June. There are several new Landing Sites granting access to explore most Regions of the planet Tephra, dozens of new pieces of Gear, and new features like matchmaking for Squads. We’ve been teasing big changes coming to STARSEEKER, and the Voidbreak Update is the first major step toward these changes! Congratulations to all Astroneers aboard the ESS Starseeker for not only completing the Life's a Beach Region Rally but even completing the first stretch goal! We have another Community Challenge that's currently underway, so have a look!A few troublesome bugs have popped up following the release of the Sinking Reef Update, so we're issuing a few bug fixes and changes to address them.PATCH 1.1.1 This Hotfix addresses some funkiness that was happening for a number of encounters during Expeditions. Bog Hounds should no longer attack you telepathically or in ghostly invisible forms. Hazards and wreckage should also be responsive again. We also addressed a couple more issues and removed Missions that were never finished or intended to be added to the game, so apologies on any confusion that might have caused.BUG FIXESAG-17822 – Fixed an issue that could result in a number of encounters to spawn in a broken state, resulting in unresponsive and/or invisible creatures and hazards.AG-17382 – Fixed an issue that was preventing uncompleted Missions from the State of Flux Community Challenge from being cleared from your list of active Missions following the end of the event.CHA
