We had a window to push it for April First and tried everything to hit that date, but we refused to ship it without the changes we promised in the last post. Took us months, literally.Controller / Keyboard navigation has been completely remade from scratch. The old system was a patchwork of fixes on top of fixes on top of fixes... every screen handled input slightly differently, and the more we added, the worse it got. At some point it stopped being a "navigation system" and started being a "polite direction suggestion 👉👈".We ripped it all out. The new system is more unified and actually makes some internal sense. Hi Heroes,We are still working on the next update, but it is clear to us that the new UI wasn't received as we expected, so we are making this post to explain a bit of our reasoning, ask a bit of help, and explain how to access the old version. Post ContentWhy?How to HelpHow to Access the Legacy UIWhy?While mobile was obviously a big consideration for changing the UI, we also had issues visibility on the Steam Deck and the overall small size of our texts, which we literally had no more room to expand. We thought this UI rework would be the best move to accomodate all information we had to display and an opportunity to add more style to the game.Obviously we missed the mark with a lot of you, so we want to make some adjustments within our reach. How to HelpIf you want to help us directly, please record a video of you engaging with the new UI and speak your mind freely about what isn’t up to your liking. These videos will be for internal use, we won’t post nor share them and will delete everything afterward. We are pushing the first hotfix to the big patch, this one focuses more on the issues that were breaking game flow. Keep the feedback and bug reports coming! Also, you can opt into the "legacy" beta to keep playing the game on the previous state. We would prefer if you beared with the turbulence with us to see if the end result is worth it. We are very open to QoL and fixes to make the "standard" version the best possible version, but we know some of you will prefer the old UI so the legacy version is there. MAJOR BUGS-Fixed an issue that would make Treasure and Interaction buttons disappear (they actually shrank so much that they were invisible)-Fixed an issue that made the King's tooltip unable to be open, I think he was hoarding itemsMINOR BUGS-Fixed some weirdness happening in the hero pool customizer-Fixed some weirdness when clicking on a hero multiple times-Fixed an issue that caused the run info on the Campaign and Ranked to missbehave -Now the game will fetch the leaderboards regardless of player rank-Now the leaderboard will be updated on wins/losses or after 5 minutes
