Hey everyone!This is a big update for Shelf Happens. Here's what's new:NEW ENDING The ending problem is fixed, and the game now has a proper story ending. Once every record in the shop is in its place, something special happens. We won't spoil it, but finish your shelves and see for yourself.NEW DARK MODE (Single Player) A brand new game mode for those who like a little tension. Every now and then the power goes out and the whole shop goes dark. Turn on your flashlight with V (D-Pad Down on controller) and keep sorting in the dark until the lights come back on. Listen carefully, too... you might hear some strange sounds in the dark.NEW ARM Your character has a new arm, so carrying and holding records looks and feels much better.FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT You can now play the whole game with a controller: menus, gameplay and settings. Xbox and PlayStation controllers are both supported.NEW GRAPHICS SETTINGSFPS LimitVSyncFIXES & IMPROVEMENTSThe camera no longer sways while walking. Movement feels much more stable.Records you carry now stay in the correct position on screen.The ending camera now stays inside the shop and shows your finished store.The neon category sign

Update: Relax Mode & Shelf Fixes🌿 New: Relax ModeA brand-new way to play for when you just want to sort records and unwind.When starting a new game you can now pick between three modes: Relax, Classic and Hardcore.For The Relax Mode:Every skill is unlocked at max level from the startNo XP to earn or spend, just you and the recordsGenre icons stay on every recordActive skills (Genre Sense, Shelf Radar) have longer cooldowns so the shop still takes some effort to finishWorks in co-op too, and Relax saves are marked with their own badge on the save screenTranslated into all 30 supported languagesFixesRecords no longer clip into each other on shelves. Records were slightly too thick for their slots, so leaning stacks overlapped. They're now slimmer and sit neatly side by side.Line breaks in text fixed. Some menus and descriptions showed a literal "\\n" instead of starting a new line. All multi-line text now displays correctly in every language.Thanks for playing, and keep the feedback coming!

But You will still need to guess genre icons too. Cover art resolution doubled from 512px to 1024px Right-click inspect is roughly 60% larger on screen, so you can actually read the sleeve you're holding The camera can look further down, which makes the bottom shelves much less awkward to work Fixed Resolution issues. Fixed records sinking through the carpet and disappearing under the floor Fixed records clipping into each other on shelves Assorted smaller fixes to shelf placement, stack alignment and UI text overflow in longer languages Coming next: controller support Gamepad support is in the build and partially working. Movement, camera and most interactions respond, but it is not finished yet and we're not calling it a feature until it is.
