What changed Independent V-Sync: V-Sync now has its own switch in Video settings. The 60 FPS cap remains in Gameplay settings, so you can control them separately. Native resolution, clearly marked: Your current display’s desktop resolution is labelled Native (Recommended), including 4K, ultrawide and other supported screen sizes. Windows display scaling fix: Corrected DPI handling that could hide higher resolutions, including 4K, or cause blurry upscaling when Windows display scaling was enabled. Clearer fullscreen wording: The existing Fullscreen option is now named Borderless Fullscreen to make its behaviour clear. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45995811/90ef0fb9db683e0f41fd9d704e6bc753d5c25c74.png

Hi everyone, I’ve pushed a fresh update to the full-game build as VOID CORE gets ready for launch. Thanks to everyone playing before release and sharing feedback—your reports have helped me catch and improve a few important things. What’s improved Steam achievements: Fixed an issue that delayed saving and syncing achievements earned in the hub, including Fuel the Machine and Veteran Crew. Starting another run should no longer be needed to trigger that process. A better first launch: The game now chooses a centered window based on your screen size and display scaling. Smaller screens use borderless fullscreen when a suitable window won’t fit. Existing display preferences are kept. Refinery progression: Adjusted higher-level Crucible Plating and Void Catalyst costs so these upgrades fit within the available Void Fuel storage limits. Windows startup compatibility: Updated the Windows package to help address a reported launch block. I’m still waiting for confirmation from the affected player, so I’m continuing to track this issue. If you have pre-release access, update the game and launch it through Steam. Please keep sharing anything unusual in the Steam discussions. Thanks for helpin

To make your journey through the void as smooth (and painless) as possible, I’ve just pushed a new update focused on accessibility and gameplay freedom. Here are the major changes in Patch 1.0.2:New Movement Mode (Mouse Follow): You no longer need to hold down the mouse button to move! After your first click, the core will now automatically follow your mouse position. This should significantly reduce hand fatigue during long sessions.Endless Round Option: Want to stay in a round longer? You can now find an "Endless Time" toggle under Settings -> Gameplay. This allows you to decide exactly when to stop and head to the upgrade screen.Minor Balance Tweaks: Small adjustments to the early game progression to complement the new movement feel.A huge thank you to LeRoi and Yamitami for their direct feedback in the Community Hub. Your suggestions are directly shaping the future of Void Core.If you're enjoying these quick updates, the best way to support me is by hitting that Wishlist button!
