1.0 update is on the way but we still have time for more major updates before that and we couldn't be more pumped. In this patch, we're making several meaningful design improvements based on your feedback. Our ultimate goal for 9 Kings is that you have fun no matter how you choose to play. This means we want to get rid of any F-tier cards/decrees and make sure every mechanic in the game is comprehensible. With the data we've gathered over the last 12 months, we're now implementing big changes we believe will be undeniable improvements across the board, always keeping simplicity and fun in mind. This has been a community request for a long time and it will make experimentation smoother and more fun.Decree ReworksIt was about time to do a second pass on some decrees that have been around for a while but felt a bit underwhelming. Our ultimate goal is to make every decree equally powerful in the right context.Glass Staffs: Wizards now get +100 damage instead of having their damage set to 100.Burglary: Not only your current troops will gain 3 stacks of Midas Touch, but also any new troop that you place for the rest of the run.Abracadabra: it's now working as intended.Loan: Gives you +9 gold multiplied by the year you're in.Dynamites: Each trap is now triggered +1 time in battle (also re-applying any Enchantment effects).Transmutation: All active troops become Imps with twice as many units.Freshmen: Level 1 troops have tripled stats (not only your current t

Not only is patch 27 a multiple of 9, but we're also adding big new multiplayer features, new cards, and fixes throughout the entire game.Update 0.9.2:Sabotage!Assassinate one of your enemies with this new event: in year 25, you can now eliminate an enemy king from your run forever in multiplayer. This will help you deal with annoying enemies and give you more tools to strategize across each run.Rainbow rotation!Multiplayer now has a rainbow card rotation every season. Each season will have a pool of 9 rainbow cards. This is gonna be a pretty fun change to incentivize new strategies every season and to make sure there's no perpetual meta in the game.
