Hey everybody! The 9 Kings devs have been hard at work working towards the 1.0 update with a new large patch that brought several meaningful changes to 9 Kings. This patch brought design changes inspired by player feedback, new QOL features, more balancing tweaks, and, as always, addressed bugs. Let's get into it! The largest change to come in this patch was the card, perk, and decree reworks, which added, rebalanced, and reimagined the decks from the King of Blood, Progress, Stone, Greed, and Rainbow primarily, with smaller changes made to other Kings' decks. 1.0 update is on the way but we still have time for more major updates before that and we couldn't be more pumped. In this patch, we're making several meaningful design improvements based on your feedback. Our ultimate goal for 9 Kings is that you have fun no matter how you choose to play. This means we want to get rid of any F-tier cards/decrees and make sure every mechanic in the game is comprehensible. With the data we've gathered over the last 12 months, we're now implementing big changes we believe will be undeniable improvements across the board, always keeping simplicity and fun in mind. Sabotage was added as a new event in year 25, allowing players to eliminate an enemy king from their run forever in multiplayer. Allowing players to clear annoying enemies and giving them more tools to strategize with in each run. This has been a community request for a long time and it will make experimentation smoother and more fun.Decree ReworksIt was about time to do a second pass on some decrees that have been around for a while but felt a bit underwhelming.
