What's in this update? A new, cooler, score screen. It looks like handwriting! 4 new tracks! A few quality of life improvements; now you can rebind the UI controls and use the Space bar for playing notes, and there's a wide mode available. What's this about a new score screen? Well, before the score screen was very utilitarian, it had a lot of info, but you had to scroll through it and it wasn't as exciting. It was also very quiet as it didn't have any music. Now, when you've finished a track and want to view your score, the score sheet is dropped onto your screen, and the scores are handwritten one by one. It's a pretty cool effect, I had to write numbers backwards with a black-to-red digital pen to make it work, but it was definitely worth it. Now viewing your score is a much more pleasant experience. It also now has some music to go along with it! What are the new tracks? A score to settle! - This is the music that goes in the score screen; as such it's also available in the demo version. Hi all, how's everything going? You may wonder if there'll be any new updates to EternAlgoRhythm. I'm planning to create new tracks for the game, and launch them all together in the next big update, which will also include a new major feature for the game. This update should be taking place later this year. If you report any bugs, or request any small features, there would be minor updates with those releasing between now and the big update; for example there's just been an update to mute the game when you set the volume to zero (previously it just made it very quiet). You can report bugs, request features, or just say hi in the discord I have also begun working on my next game, which will be a sequel to one of my game jam games. It'll be a puzzle game with singleplayer, local co-op and hopefully online co-op modes.

This is a small patch with bugfixes. Now setting the game's main volume to zero mutes all the audio as is expected. The Windows version of the game should also have its icon.

I've just added a feature that was requested a couple of days ago; to have an option to have the key names inside the notes. This turned out to be quite easy to implement, so it's now in the game! In the Graphics settings, you can change the note interior from "Classic" to "Key" to get this effect. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44787563/e43f05daa3a97870ab20476ae1abcdaf37723337.png Another new feature is that your choice of settings is now saved instead of resetting each time you reopen the game! My dev friend told me players like this message more than saying "I fixed a bug where I forgot to comment out the debug code that resets the settings file for testing purposes". Anyway the player who reported that bug also thought it'd be nice to be able to press space to pause the game (You could and still can use the ESC key to pause the game, but I think this was only tangentially implied in the tutorial). Anyway since the space bar wasn't doing anything else during gameplay, now it pauses the game.
