Dagger Directive Update 1.0 marks a major milestone for the game. With the depth, stability, and feature set now in place, “Early Access” no longer reflects what the experience offers, so we’re officially calling this our 1.0 release. Players now have 54+ weapons, 20 missions, and a wide range of systems to explore. Over the past months, we’ve dedicated significant effort to improving performance, accessibility, game design polish, and multiplayer networking. We’ve also expanded our UGC toolset, giving creators even more ways to build unique experiences. This update introduces the next campaign chapter, new weapons, new cosmetics, and additional content across the game. While Update 1.0 concludes our Early Access period, it does not mark the end of development. We still have content in the pipeline and will continue monitoring your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. New weapons, air strikes, cosmetics, and more. We also have some status updates related to other future and current features for the game. We are going to kick this off with a major announcement. Update 1.0 will be released in less than 3 weeks! Let’s go over the remaining features that will be coming with this release. New WeaponsIn addition to the weapons we showcased in the June dev blog. We have four more.M7 Rifle with Scope & SuppressorXM8 Rifle with Scope & Grenade LauncherM2 Machine GunMK19 Automatic Grenade launcherThis will bring you to having a total of 51 weapons plus 3 mounted weapons (2 grenade launcher attachments and 1 shotgun weapon attachment that can be considered weapons as well). That is a huge arsenal to choose from when making customized loadouts for each mission. New Air StrikesIn addition to the new weapons and attachments, you will also have other new tools while you are out on the battlefield. Update 0.9.0 & Hotfix 0.9.01 are now out the door. So what is next? This month we want to take a moment to and give you some insight into the team, go over an update of the roadmap, and even a sneak peek into something brand new. We are very excited about what’s upcoming. We want to start out by thanking everyone again for their quick feedback and bug reports after the launch of 0.9.0. It enabled up to quickly dive into the issues and get a hotfix out that resolved most of the issues. We are also happy to hear from the players that are now able to join in the fights using their controllers or mobile steam devices. We also hope you are taking time to try out the custom maps and missions. We want players to feel comfortable providing feedback good and frustrating. Send bug reports and tell us stories about an exhilarating moment you had while out on a mission. As an indie team we have the ability to really listen and incorporate what the players want into the games design.
