Hello Clone Jockeys,  Thank you all for playing DEATHSPRINT 66 and your continued support.  Today we are releasing our fourth major update – “Ashen” – which brings plenty of exciting new content to the game, all for free!  First up are three brand new maps set in a whole new biome: Scorched, Caldera, and Meltdown. These maps are burning hot – literally – and feature our new Flamethrower trap.  To celebrate these new maps there will be an extended feature playlist event running from 6pm (GMT) today until 6pm (GMT) on Monday, 17th February. That’s not all, as we are also introducing a brand-new ability: The Ad Spammer. Disorient the other racers by subjecting them to the visual noise that is advertisements.  Finally, we have the brand-new Response racing suit, several new banners, and an increase to the Awards level cap from 40 to 50, offering players plenty of new levels and rewards to earn.  Make sure to read the full patch notes below, as there are plenty more fixes and tweaks to be found in this update.  Update 4 will be going live at 2pm GMT, so there may be a brief interruption in play. Unique to these maps is a brand-new Flamethrower trap, where one misstep will leave clones crying for mercy as they are set ablaze. Hazardous lava also makes its debut. Even the merest of touches will seriously hurt! Our sponsors are getting heavily invested in this update – perhaps too much – with the new Ability: Ad Spammer. Temporarily impair your competitors’ vision with pop-ups from sponsors and give them a friendly nudge into the lava as you run past. Hello Clone Jockeys,   A few months ago, we released a roadmap of four updates for DEATHSPRINT 66. Three of these updates are now live, and the fourth was due to release this month. This update contains a new trap, ability, cosmetics, and three new maps. All of these (except the ability) are connected by the core theme of fire. Unfortunately, due to current events going on in the world, we feel that it would be insensitive to fully unveil and celebrate this update in the next week as originally planned. Therefore, we have taken the difficult decision to delay the fourth update until a more suitable time. We are not looking to edit or remove any content from Update 4 and will share an update on new timelines in due course. What better way to celebrate this update than to start with an AR map focused event featuring three brand new maps: Sakura, Hard-Drive, and Virus.
