Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas! As a small extra gift under the Christmas tree, we published an update for Necro Story today! We fixed a few small bugs and we added a feature that some of you might consider important. If you played the game already, you noticed that something weird happens the first time you die. We initially wanted to keep the surprise about this, but it seems that many players are upset to discover that it could lock some parts of the story. We understand their reaction and wanted to do something about it. So this update's most important point is to warn the player about the consequence of picking one of the options when dying for the first time. We won't tell you more in order to not spoil it too much, but we believed that with the current version, player who wants to reach 100% completion from their very first game won't get upset anymore. Hi everyone, The release of Necro Story is fast approaching! Only 9 days to go until the final game launch! In case you want to (re)play Necro Story before the game releases on October 7th, please note we updated the demo. Here is a non-exhaustive list of the main changes: - It is not necessary to drag and drop the souls and mana fragments on the necromancer anymore. Just right clicking them will absorb them automatically. This is a common request we received after publishing the demo back in May, and we think the game is much better like this. Thank you for pointing this out! - We made it easier to catch the souls with the mouse. The zone around the soul that can trigger the mouse pointer catching it is now bigger. - Controller support is more polished overall. Also the problems of detection between controller and mouse should be fixed. Please let us know if you still have those problems. - We added support for a ton of new languages. 8 new languages actually, so the current supported language list is the following: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Hi everyone! After more than 6 years of development, we're thrilled to announce that Necro Story now has a release date! Summon minions, outsmart foes, and snag their souls to power up your team. With witty banter from ghostly sidekick Vivi, expect strategic combat, laughs, and plenty of mischief. To celebrate the release date announcement, we published a new trailer! We'd like to thank you all for your patience during the long years it took to make this game. Hi everyone! Steam Next Fest is now behind us, and I hope you had the chance to try some cool game demos! A comment that seems to be shared by many players is that the drag and dropping of souls and mana fragments could become tedious after a while, and we decided to tweak this for the final version. Here is a list of things we are currently working on: Mana fragments: There is no need to drag & drop the mana fragments on the necromancer to absorb them anymore. Just right click on the mana fragment and release the button, it will automatically be absorbed.
