Hello everyone!Patch 6 for Ary and the Secret of Seasons is now available.ːarysurprisedːThis patch is a bit of archaeology. We restored features that were built but cut before the original release, and content that never quite made it to the finish line.The biggest change is streaming. Zones now load and unload seamlessly in the background as you move through the world, so there are no more loading screens between regions. This was one of the major systems we always wanted the game to have, and bringing it back required us to revisit a lot of old level structure, transitions, quests, and technical assumptions.On top of that, we built a brand new cave connecting the Lammastide and Ostara regions. It is the only playable zone in the game where all four seasons are active at once, making it a small but very special addition to the world.We also kept working through the list of things that still needed fixing, improving combat, traversal, quest stability, Steam support, Steam Deck support, and several long-standing edge cases.As always, thank you for your support, your patience, and all the feedback you have sent us ːarycorkː. This patch adds a few new features and quality-of-life improvements based on your suggestions, along with a good batch of the remaining bug fixes.This is the last update before the major Patch 6, planned around the end of the month.Gameplay:Added Coin Magnet, a new 3-tier upgrade available in the Sensei shop that automatically attracts nearby coins. ːhyenamerchantːAdded a few extra teleporters inside temples.Unlocked fast-travel inside temples after defeating the area boss.Usability:Sold-out shop items are now displayed greyed out with a "Sold Out" label instead of disappearing, so you can always see what was available.Interactable fruits and health pickups now glow more intensely when Ary is low on health.Bugfixes:Fixed an error caused by puzzle objects with invalid movement states.Other various small fixes.

We've been reading your reports and requests closely, and this hotfix is our direct response.We focused on things you asked for: better controls, accessibility options and we added better handheld support, along with stability fixes we caught during testing.Accessibility & Options:Added a HUD Size option.Added a Toggle Sprint option. Press the sprint button once to start sprinting, release the stick to stop. No more holding the button.Added a Jump Landing Assist toggle. This system helps guide jumps toward safe landing spots. It is on by default but can now be turned off for players who prefer full manual control.Added separate Aim Axis Inversion options for the slingshot, independent from camera inversion.Gameplay:Added a keyboard shortcut: press M to open the World Map directly.Added short press vs long press behaviour on the Menu button. Short press opens the inventory, long press opens the map.Performance:Added shader variant warmup during level loading to reduce micro stuttering caused by runtime shader compilation.Bugfixes:Fixed some localization that got lost when exporting translation files back

Hello everyone!We are very happy to announce that Patch 5 for Ary and the Secret of Seasons is now available, along with Steam Trading Cards and badges.You might be wondering why it took so long between Patch 4 and this update, During the last five years we were stuck in a situation where we had no control and were completely unable to update our own game, to make matters worse, the release of the game happened during the chaos of 2020, and we never felt the game was finished.That wait finally ended last September when we got the rights back.To be honest, working on this update over the past few months has been deeply therapeutic. It is our way of finally finishing what we started and giving this project the proper closure it deserves. We tackled a massive technical overhaul, updating the game's core 3D engine to the latest technology.By jumping forward half a decade, the game instantly benefits from thousands of invisible, under-the-hood fixes. We also manually resolved hundreds of things that just did not feel right, squashing bugs, fixing memory leaks, and smoothing out the overall clunkiness.
