Hello vikings! What a month June has been! We were finally able to reveal our 1.0 release date at the PC Gaming Show earlier this month, and we’re delighted that so many of you seem excited for the launch! At last it is official that Valheim 1.0, with Deep North and all, releases on the 9th of September this year, with full crossplay between platforms. If you missed it, or if you just can’t get enough of it, you can watch the trailer right here: We’re very excited for you to be able to experience what we’ve been working on, and we really hope that you’ll have a great time! Leading up to the launch, we can also reveal that we will have a booth at the Gamescom showfloor in August. If you’ll be at the event in Cologne, make sure to come find us for a chance to chat to some of the devs, and to experience Valheim in a more immersive way than ever before. Vikings! As Valheim nears its 1.0 release, we are looking to feature stories of our community members and fans who have played the game. Over the years we’ve heard many stories about players finding new friends, a welcoming community and even love through the game, and we’d love to highlight these tales of kinship and comraderie. Whether you played when the game initially released or you’re playing every week to this day, whether you’ve reunited with your friends through Valheim or found your future spouse in the Tenth Realm, we’d love to hear from you! Vikings! For a long time you have asked when we will see the release of the Deep North, and at last we have a date to offer you! Valheim 1.0 will arrive on 9 September, with new enemies to kill, bases to build and weapons to craft. The release will hit PC, Linux, Mac, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as per usual, and now we’re also adding PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 to the roster. Of course there will be full crossplay between all the platforms, so that you can play with your friends.
