Invaders, today we shared that Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD are being prepared for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/36979166/1b03e593eefeafe182f932aa4870dac1942709b8.gif The Sewer Kid crew worked real hard on this one. But wait, what does this mean for someone who already bought the game on Steam and doesn’t own a PlayStation? Well, the announcement was part of today’s Behemoth Roadmap presentation, where we shared even more news about what we’ve been working on, including a BattleBlock Theater (Steam) quality of life update AND a Castle Crashers (Steam) DLC. Hooray for chicken updates here on Steam! BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! While working on these updates and preparing our Alien Hominid game babies for PlayStation gamers, we’re also prototyping for our next game! BAAAAAAAWK! So yeah, today was a pretty exciting day for the big chicken. Thanks to all who have been a part of our journey as a little (big) chicken studio these past 21 years. Message from the Mothership Good morning invaders! Today we have a small patch to fix a few bugs and address some of the feedback you’ve left since we dropped the Juicy Variety Update. Sending a big chicken BAAAWK to the Discord community for reporting the Shield Agent bug and providing invaluable feedback on recently added features! These chickens couldn't do it without you. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/36979166/927b4937ed37b79b73bb79079fec452aadd10cb6.gifFixes Gameplay - Fixed an aggression bug causing the Shield Agent to be a tad OP. Gameplay - The Orbiter projectile no longer hurts the enemy the player is riding. Gameplay - Adjusted the alien run speed based on feedback. Gameplay - Fixed a bug where the Sky Van would occasionally get stuck. Gameplay - Adjustments to Installball_b movement and pathfinding. Level - Fixed various collision bugs with the Highway level. Level - Fixed a bug where Kid Forts would spawn in inaccessible areas.

On Monday, we released the Juicy Variety Update, introducing a handful of new hazards, areas, enemies, and modifiers to Alien Hominid Invasion! What better way to celebrate the update than with some friendly community competitions? We have three competitions for you this time around: a 2-player co-op fresh profile high score challenge (with Normal and INSANE mode categories), a Show Off mutation short-form video challenge, and a solo speed run Orbiter INSANE challenge! Before we get into the nitty gritty intel for each competition, here are some general guidelines for each entry: To keep things fair and share the love of ALIEN PRIZES with as many players as possible, no participants can earn first place in more than one category. Only one submission is allowed per category for each participant. Participants must be over 18 years old or have their parent’s permission to enter. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, May 15th at 4:00 PM PDT. Now for the fun part – details on how to enter for each category!
