Hell is Other Demons

Believe it or not, but we are back with another patch for Hell is Other Demons! Aiming Ever since I started showing HiOD to the public, the main suggestion I got was the ability to aim. You asked for it, and eventually you got it! You can now toggle 360 degree aiming in the Gameplay Settings. For all you WASD + Mouse fans out there, there is also experimental in game mouse aiming that can be enabled under Settings > Controls The Archer Tailor made for this, another playable arcade mode character, The Archer, joins the ranks with his Time- and Space bending kit: - Press and Hold the Attack button to aim and slow time. Release to fire a piercing arrow. - Your ultimate is a slow moving Black Hole that sucks in everything in it's way. Japanese and Korean localization: Our friends at Kakehashi Games has helped out to localize and release the game in Japan and South Korea. Hey, Some of you players are reporting that their old saves didn't carry over to the new patch. This has now been resolved in a new patch. Your data is safe! Just restart steam, check that you get the new patch and the data will be imported into the first free save slot. The version number can be found on the main menu screen, top right corner. It should say "2019-12-20 21:07". Thanks to everyone who reported this. Extra special thanks to ChronoQuote for reporting this issue with some data that helped us quicky solve the issue! Here's a new update: - Lava Climb: New game mode! No shooting, just jump, dash and stomp to outrun the Rising Lava. Leaderboards enabled. - Separate Arcade Leaderboards per Character. - Save Slots: Good for speedruns as you no longer have to delete your whole save every time. Hell is Other Demons has been out on Steam for a couple of days now and the critical response has been amazing! We are currently hard at work squashing bugs, improving the game and working on the next free content patch. On top of all the ideas I already have, the community has been coming up with awesome upgrades, characters, weapons and features. Here are a few of the things that were fixed this week. Balance - Tweaked Upgrades Explosion- and Laser-Proof. They now have 3 charges per level instead of infinite. - Unbanned Health Upgrades from The Cloak Improvements - Added default gamepad controller mappings on Steam. - Now supports Switch Pro Controller on Steam. - Now pauses the game if the current input device gets disconnected. - Now pauses the game if the Steam Overlay is activated. - Made Spike Traps more visible in Boneyard. Bugfixes - Fixed a bug where the game would not progress to the results screen if you died between killing a boss and picking up the artefact. - Fixed a bug where the optional objectives wouldn't trigger
