Old Man's Journey

Hey you all!We fixed a few things that were bugging some of you and even caused you getting stuck. Sorry for introducing those in the first place and thanks for the patience!We addressed the following issues with our latest patch:Level 4: turning wheel not responding ->fixedFinal level (credits)/last achievement/boat not responding -> fixedTrain level, wobbly camera -> fixedWe did so by limiting the framerate to 120fps (via vSync but also w/o), handling the resolution/refresh rate differently and we also made some changes to the camera code in the train level to make it less jittery.If any of you should still have issues please let us know in the forums.Thanks for your patience and sorry again for the bugs!Broken Rules

Hey everyone! We have a new major update for Old Man's Journey.We heard you loud and clear and are finally bringing Achievements to our game. Sorry that it took so long but our latest game Gibbon: Beyond the Trees just kept us very busy. Along with the update comes full Steam Deck Compatibility as well.Achievements Find out more about the characters and the world of Old Man's Journey in 13 brand new achievements. Some can be found in plain sight, some are a bit more hidden. Can you catch them all?Steam Deck Compatibility Our game was already running pretty nicely on Steam Deck but had a few minor flaws. Now we have improved on that and got the official Fully Verified approval from Valve. That means you can take our game on the go or just play it from the comfort of your couch. Nice, right?Cloud SyncingAlong with Steam Deck compatibility comes also cloud syncing through the new update. Hello everyone, and thank you for your interest in our game. The positive reception of Old Man's Journey on Steam surprised us and makes us very happy! To give back we've been busy working on a major update for Mac and Windows. The number 1 feedback we heard from you was that you would like to tweak Old Man's Journey to better fit your PC. So we finally added a real settings menu that you can access either from the pause or main menu. We also added a way to quit the game from the main menu for those of you who don't like using cmd-q or alt-f4 to exit from a game :) A few people told us that the game crashes on their Windows 7 machine. The reason for that was the plugin we used to play videos in our game. Luckily Unity just added their own VideoPlayer. So we updated Unity, made sure everything works as expected (something always breaks when updating to a major new version) and are glad to report that it now runs on our Windows 7 test case.
