This update adds nine interface languages to Embers of Eternal Night and makes the language selector easier to find. Nine new languages: Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Korean, and Persian. Together with Simplified Chinese and English, the game now supports 11 interface languages. Expanded in-game translations: Menus, settings, control prompts, combat UI, weapon and skill descriptions, upgrade choices, results, the Codex, hunter contracts, and map mastery. Improved Persian text display: Right-to-left text layout and a bundled font improve readability in menus and the Codex. A clearer language selector: A globe icon and a label containing “Language” now identify the selector in the upper-right corner of the main menu and in settings. Better menus on narrower screens: Added space for the language selector to reduce overlap with menu content and information panels. How to change languages: Use the selector in the upper-right corner of the main menu, or open settings from the main menu. Your choice is saved automatically. Changing languages reloads the game while keeping your existing character, map, progression, and clear records.

This update improves walking animations for several characters and fixes visual issues affecting the Lantern Bearer's horizontal movement. - Updated the four-direction walking animations for Storm Seer, Bone Nun, Iron Saint, Rift Scholar, Soul Reaper, and Frost Witch. Each direction now uses an eight-frame cycle for smoother, more natural movement. - Fixed incorrect facing during the Lantern Bearer's left and right movement. Adjusted sprite scale and foot alignment to reduce size changes and jitter between frames.
