New Save & Resume: leave a run and pick it up later from the RESUME button on the main menu. Leave between waves and you come back to the Pantry before the next wave. Leave mid-wave and that wave restarts. In Hardcore you can only resume between waves. Spud Buddy (rare): a mini you follows you around for the city and throws a dart every second. Daylight Saving (rare): +5 seconds to collect resources after each wave, for the city. Changes Rares show up more often: 45% of Pantries now have one, up from 30%, and some have two. Rares that change how you play turn up twice as often as the utility ones. Boss fights: hazard zones that track you are off during boss fights. Zones in regular waves still track you.

HARDCORE MODEThis update adds a new game mode: Hardcore. 1 life, 50 cities - you die you start over at city 1! All cuts available in Hardcore as well as all perks available that exist in Standard mode. Hardcore only has 1 difficulty, Normal. Who can make it the furthest without dying?SPIN THE WHEELThis update also includes a new wheel in the pantry! Test your luck, wager a percentage of your collected resources for a chance to win big. You can only spin before purchasing any perks. The wheel locks once you've made a purchase. BOSS UPDATESBosses now move and track you rather than just hang out up at the top of the arena. POST RUN STATSThere's now a post run stat screen after you beat, or lose, a city which displays your build for that run, as well as the resources earned and spent.

You can now set your reticle to one of 5 different colors to help aiming stand out better. Searing Trail and Dinner Roll did damage but wouldn't kill enemies. They now do.

Your Build Never MatteredBut now it does!Prior to this update, your build never mattered much beyond wave 14 or so. You bought one of everything, the pantry ran out of ideas, and every run started looking like the last one. Fixed.Eight slots. Choose wisely.The Pantry stocks a limited shelf now. You can carry 8 different perks in a run — once they're spoken for, the pantry stops offering new ones and starts selling you more of what you already run.Depth is untouched. Extra Prong still stacks to 24. What changed is that saying yes to Searing Trail on wave 5 now costs you something, because that's a shelf you don't get back.Two runs on the same cut will not look the same any more.Cards now tell you what they're worthEvery card shows 0/10 where 0 is owned and 10 is available, and so does the pause screen.Some perks cap at 3. Some cap at 24.
