v1.4.1 — The Music Comes Back The music that used to loop on the menu and the cafe name/cat selection screen wouldn't start over. Now it resets itself every ~2 seconds on every screen. (If you pause it yourself, it stays paused.) The run, which started in the demo and continued in the full game, ended on the 12th day with the message "You won." The day limit is now determined by the version you're playing; the run lasts for 30 days. If this has happened to you, your save is on hold. If your campaign ended on Day 12 with a "You've won" message, upload that run—after this update, it will continue until Day 30, and your progress will remain the same.

Something to Buy at the End of Day 1 We cut Day 1 short so you'd reach the shop, but at Lv.1 every line in the shop was locked. Not anymore. The Water Dispenser unlocks at Lv.1 — the one thing you can buy on your first evening, and once you do, customers start placing orders. A line under the shop header telling you what you're supposed to do. Dispenser stock can be refilled from the end-of-day shop; "Restock All" when more than one is running low. Visible scrollbars on DAILY.LOG and the Skills list; the skill list no longer gets squished. Reputation loss always shows its reason. The tutorial bar is semi-transparent, and it now tells you that tips can be turned off at the end of the first day.

The whole interface has been rebuilt as a 2000s cafe-management program: every panel is a real window (WAITING.EXE, BUSINESS.DAT, ORDERS.EXE, EVENTS.LOG), the top bar is a taskbar, and the game boots like an era-true desktop — a lone KAFEOS.exe icon double-clicks itself and the login window pops open. A matching pixel cursor set ships with it (arrow, hand, and a "there's a right-click menu here" hand), scaling with your window size. Readable feedback - Every money/reputation loss shows its reason on screen AND lands in the event log in red at the same moment; gains do the same in green. The log finally reads at a glance. - The event log and the skills list now scroll (mouse wheel / touch drag).
