Upgrade, maintain and care for your Laika 601 Deluxe motor vehicle. Keep close attention to everything from the state of your tyres, the condition of your engine and even the space in your trunk. Repair each aspect of your scrappy little car and install unique upgrades to deal with the changing world. Everything from cargo weight to the condition of your carburettor will determine how your car performs on the open road.
The rise of capitalism brings an economical conundrum. Scavenge for scraps to make a small return of investment, or become a baron of the open road and smuggle contraband under the eyes of border patrols to make a sizable profit.

Trunk Issue NOW Fixed, Steering Responsiveness Improved

Hello all, We have just released an update which fixes the trunk issue. Earlier this month we released a hotfix which we believed to have fixed the issue, but unfortunately this wasn't the case. There should no longer be any issue with placing items in the trunk, but do keep posting on the forums and letting your voices be heard! We have also taken the opportunity to tighten up the car steering to make driving feel more responsive. 27 June Patch Notes - Fixed wine and water bottles preventing players being able to use the inventory - Prevented item swapping on inventory transitions - Fixed keys not going into the ignition - Tightened the car steering so it feels more responsive Thanks, The Jalopy Team

Hello all, We have a small Jalopy update for you today, which fixes some bugs. 30th May 2019 Patch Notes Language select now has arrow prompts Laika magazine modified in Portuguese to fit text better Petrol station basket saving/loading revised preventing issues with disappearing inventory Crowbar and car jack is now properly accessible in petrol stations Traffic lights now change correctly when approached by player Wallet in main menu shows correct value AI vehicle braking power increased When returning home, storage will no longer be destroyed Void border around scrapyard/Petrol station fixed in route generation We thank you all for your continued support - we of course are still listening to all of your feedback and further updates are on the way.
