Halloween Forever

Hello everyone! We've fixed a crash involving the new characters when playing in Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Happy Halloween Forever from all of us at Poppy Works! We're happy to be able to bring you this new Free DLC and language update this year. We hope you enjoy unlocking the new characters and checking out all of what they have in store for you in the world of Halloween Forever. Patch Notes: New Languages Portuguese Spanish German French Italian Russian Simplified Chinese Japanese Korean Added New Character: Ms. Succubus New Character: Harmonia (guest character from "Au Sable") New Character: Protagonist (guest character from "All Our Friends Are Dead") New Character: Rae (guest character from "A Small Robot Story") New sound effects were added to make the world feel more lively~! PC and Console 4:3/16:9 settings. If you play on PC, press F9 to change the game's aspect ratio!! Fixed Fixed an issue where lives would reset to 1 after death. Reality now contains many lives. Frogs are now optimized. Don't ask. Fixed a Character Select Screen input bug. Fixed audio issues for PC and PS4 players. Increased game stability. A big thanks to our community for pointing out various issues with the 1.6 update. Below, you'll find our additions and fixes to the game that will create a more enjoyable experience. Please continue to let us know if there are any other issues or suggestions you have! Added: "Exit" button to Main Menu. Added: "Return" option to the Pause menu, allowing easy restarts. Fixed: Missing characters in the Simplified Chinese font. Fixed: Languages not loading if the Player did not have Steam Overlay enabled. Believe Fixed: Issues with Steam Achievements not proc-ing. Issue related to Steam Overlay option. Fixed: Upon Game Over, the game retained some odd stats, such as Rune progress and Player lives. This is resolved. Fixed: Screenshake camera placement issue. Updated: Screen resolution more stable. We are additionally planning on allowing users access to a legacy version of the game for the purposes of speedrunning. Wolfgang Wozniak from Poppy Works here, we are now the global publisher for Halloween Forever, including on Steam~! We wanted to update the game to support new languages as well as improve stability. This update makes it easier for us to add new languages at any time, and improves overall game stability. We ran this update with the Imaginary Monster Discord community in a beta program and did not come across any issues. Well, what is this? The patch notes can be found below! Patch notes: Added Japanese language Korean language Mandarin Chinese language New save/load system Steam Cloud save Gamepad support improved Cursor is now hidden when gamepad buttons are pressed Official Boo Dudes song "Halloween Forever" to the Credits screen. New font "Silver". Get it at Updated Entire game's script is loaded externally. Modding is possible. Map arrow is now animated Various bug fixes Removed Button remapping (This will come back at a later date. Please use Steam Big Picture to remap your controls for now) We removed the previous button remapping system as it was a little unstab
