🔎 v1.0.3 Update: New Inspection Mode & Massive UX Fixes! Hey everyone! I've been working hard to polish the game based on your feedback. My goal for this update was to make the gameplay feel much smoother, more immersive, and more "premium." Here is everything new in version 1.0.3: Brand New Clue Inspection: You can now right-click any photo or clue on the detective board to zoom into it. The background will blur, a clean description text will appear on the left, and you can replay its voice line whenever you want. Interact While Holding the Camera: You no longer need to put your camera away to interact with the world. You can now open doors, call the elevator, or check desk files while looking through your camera lens. Smart Crosshair: To keep your screen clean, the crosshair will now hide itself when you hold up the camera. However, it will instantly pop up the moment you point at a door or a button so you know exactly where you are clicking. Pause-Friendly Dialogues: If you press ESC to pause the game during a radio broadcast or a character monologue, everything will now freeze perfectly mid-sentence (including the text timers). Patch 1.0.1 - Pause System, Brightness & QoL Improvements Thank you all for playing and sharing your feedback! We've been actively listening and have just rolled out a new update focusing on Quality of Life (QoL), atmospheric polish, and some bug fixes. Settings & Quality of Life: Added a Pause System: Pressing ESC now properly freezes player movement, camera controls, and stress mechanics without breaking the game's physics or animations. Added a Brightness Slider: You can now adjust the game's brightness via the Settings menu. (Don't worry, brightness normalizes in the main menu to prevent text glare). Final Day Tracker: Added a clue counter (e.g., 6/10) to the Final Day sequence so you always know exactly how many clues you've gathered before making your final choice. Detective Board Improvements: Wire System Clarity: Clicking the wire spool now highlights all clues on the board, giving you a clear visual indication of where connections can be made. Cancel Mode: You can now simply right-click to instantly cancel the wire connection mode.
