Welcome to this new update; here are the new changes we have for you. ELEMENTAL ENERGY SYSTEMWe’ve implemented the system for obtaining elemental energy from the gates. With this mechanic, specific bosses will spawn at the end of each tower, making it easier to progress through the Arcane Tower and obtain materials for crafting cauldron items. HOW IT WORKSWhen you enter an elemental gate and complete it, you’ll earn elemental energy. This energy will last until you reach the tower boss; then, the two most frequently visited elements will be selected, and a boss related to those elements will be generated. CHANGES TO THE TUTORIALWe noticed that some tutorials were too long and a bit difficult to read, so we’ve shortened the most important ones to make them easier to understand and less of a chore to read. We hope this makes it more comfortable for you to learn the game and enjoy climbing the tower. RESOLUTION ADJUSTMENTSThere was an issue where, when using very low resolutions, some elements would overlap, hiding important content. We’ve fixed this issue, and now you’ll be able to play with a full view of all elements on any screen size.

AN UNEXPECTED ERRORJust popping in to report an unexpected error we’ve detected that’s directly affecting new players of Arcane Ascent. The way it occurs took us by surprise, but fortunately there’s a very simple workaround while we work on the patch. The Problem and How to Avoid It:What Happens?: If you play through the entire opening cutscene of the game, when you reach the screen with the witch’s cauldron, a freeze occurs that prevents you from proceeding to the next screen. The solution: Interestingly, the error is completely avoided if you decide to skip the cutscene.PLEASE SKIP THE CUTSCENE FOR NOW!Although it pains us greatly to ask this of you, it’s the only guaranteed way to play without issues right now.
