Hey, Community! You asked why our characters are facing away from the enemy - so we actually made an easter egg 👀 Our team created this secret animation in literally one day. During your hero’s turn, press a button on your keyboard or controller for a 10% chance to trigger it… And no, we’re not telling you which button 😏 You’ll have to figure that one out yourselves. Also, we’ve made a few improvements: - Lootbound now works while minimized or when the window is not active - Fixed issues related to different screen resolutions Thank you for all the jokes, memes, and feedback that helped us turn this into something real. We’ve been closely following your feedback, and we know that randomness has been a common pain point for many players. We’ve made the item selection mechanic more fair and predictable. You can now choose to get one common reward, or roll the dice and take a risk for a chance to get something better 🎲 We’ve also rebalanced Difficulty II, making it slightly more challenging to better match the intended difficulty progression Additionally, we’ve fixed several minor bugs and made improvements to the game’s overall stability We’re continuing to improve Lootbound, and your feedback plays an important role in that process. It’s time to reveal a secret screenshot from development :3Now you know what our heroes look like from behind ;)Jokes aside, we got surprisingly many questions and comments about this. And no, it isn’t accidental. The fact that the characters look at you and sometimes literally address the player is part of the world of Lootbound. You can even notice it in some dialogues, where the heroes aren’t asking someone inside the game, but you.Now you know a little more than you should.Thanks for all the feedback since release. We’ve been reading your feedback since launch and quickly noticed one recurring theme: the balance was harsher in places than we intended.So we didn’t want to wait and put together a quick patch.If you already have Lootbound installed, now is a great time to update the game and jump into another run.BALANCE• Reduced the power of bosses and elite enemies, primarily by lowering their health and armor• Weakened buffs and debuffs for all enemies• Increased mana recovery between fights• Increased mana recovery from the Second Wind ability• Reduced the difficulty of dice rolls in all rooms• Increased the amount of Memory Shards earned for clearing roomsTHIRD DIFFICULTYAfter significantly weakening bosses and elite enemies, we slightly strengthened the modifiers for the third difficulty level so it still remains a serious challenge for players who want one.We’ll keep a close eye on the balance.Update Lootbound and let us know how the game feels now.
