Here's what we did:NEW SIDE QUESTSWe’re adding two new types of side quests - giving you more ways to earn extra money and EXP.The first type is all about package delivery. To start these quests, you’ll need to talk to the right NPCs, either at the port or at the supermarket. You’ll also need specific vehicles for these jobs. Your task is simple: pick up the packages and deliver them to their recipients.The second type of side quest can be found by talking to random NPCs around the map. These quests are focused on finding various hidden items. You’ll need a metal detector and a shovel to complete them. POLICE IMPROVEMENTSWe’ve also made quite a few improvements to how the police system works, as many of you reported that it wasn’t always behaving as intended.We’ve replaced the police car with… a helicopter. We’ve also improved how police chases work.CARRYING ITEMS IN CERTAIN VEHICLESAs you may have already noticed with the new side quests, we’ve also added the ability to carry items in certain vehicles. Here's what we did:MANUAL RUST REMOVAL TOOLWe're adding a disc sander to the game, allowing you to manually remove rust from wrecks.You can buy it in the Hardware Store.Remember that the discs wear out, so you'll need to buy replacement discs from the same shop as well.Using the new tool is very simple - we've added it to the radial menu, alongside the other basic tools.While removing rust from a wreck, the UI displays the vehicle's current rust level (similar to dent repair or car washing). You'll also see the current wear level of the grinder discs.WHEEL RIM PAINTINGWe're also adding the ability to change the color of your wheel rims - another feature many of you have been asking for.This option is available at the mechanic's shop - a place you're already very familiar with.When customizing your rims, you'll have access to additional options. Here's what we did:RALLY SHOPWe are adding a Rally Shop where you can upgrade your car.You can find the new location on the map.In the Rally Shop, you can upgrade your car's engine to increase its power.You can also install a roll cage, which helps protect the car in collisions and prevents the windows from shattering.Another option is to modify the suspension height and wheel spacing. In the Rally Shop, you can adjust their settings to whatever level you prefer.The Rally Shop is available from the start, and you can use it at any time. However, there is also a side quest that introduces you to the shop and rewards you with additional EXP and money upon completion.You can begin this quest in several ways: by talking to the bartender, by speaking with the mechanic, or by going directly to the Rally Shop owner.P.S. Completing the side quest is completely optional - the Rally Shop's services are available regardless of whether you take on the quest or not. Here's what we did:CAR CONTAINERSWe’re adding Car Containers, where you can buy random cars.You’ll find them in side missions.You're supposed to go to the location you already know - the Port.You’ll find a man there who sells cars through containers.In your conversation with him, you’ll learn that he offers a few categories of containers, for example: Work Cars, Performance Cars, or Legendary Cars. You’ll also find out the price of each container (you won’t know which specific car you’ll get, but you’ll know the category).Once you choose a category, you’ll see the probability of getting each specific car model in that category.Once you purchase a container, you can walk up to it, open it, and find out which car you got—and what condition it’s in.You can then drive the car, modify it, or sell it. The offers (and the contents of the containers) refresh every 24 hours of in-game time.IMPROVED CAR ATTACHMENT MECHANICS FOR TOW TRUCKSYou reported issues where cars attached to tow trucks would sometimes get damaged during transport.
