Hello everyone!Update v1.011.1 for Pompeii: The Legacy is now live!This is another substantial update, bringing improvements across many different parts of the game – from the way rivers and ships look and move, to trade calculations, agriculture, city services, house information, research, and performance in large cities.As always, many of these changes came directly from your reports, save files, suggestions, and discussions. It contains a combination of many smaller optimizations and several larger changes to systems such as citizen movement, building placement, roads, walls, fences, and rendering.Players with large and heavily developed cities should notice smoother gameplay, fewer short pauses when placing new buildings, and generally more consistent performance.There are also several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements; including a much clearer indication when Destroy mode is active.And this isn't the update I've been teasing recently! Hello everyone!First of all, I'd like to apologize that this update took a little longer than I originally hoped. Over the past weeks I've been working on a lot of different parts of the game, and many of the changes ended up being much bigger than they first appeared.I hope you'll find this update worth the wait, because this isn't just another bug-fix patch. The biggest addition is the new Plaza system, alongside a large collection of quality-of-life improvements and many of the small features that you've been requesting. Hello everyone! I've just uploaded a small update (v1.008.0) focused on fixes and stability improvements. Changes Fixed fertility calculations for Crop Fields, Vegetable Farms, and Vineyards. Any field chunk placed outside fertile land will now correctly receive a 50% production penalty. Fixed several quest objectives in some localizations where Honey Wine was incorrectly displayed as Wine. Various small UI and hint improvements, including alignment fixes. Added additional logging around several systems to help track down rare crashes reported by two players. About the Plaza Update Unfortunately, the new plazas are not included in this update yet. They're mostly finished, but I haven't had enough time to test them properly. As soon as I'm confident they're working correctly, I'll release another update with the new plaza variations. I need to be very careful with new features, especially when they affect existing cities and save files. I'd rather spend a little extra time testing than risk breaking anyone's progress.
