Hey everyone! We’re back with another Work-In-Progress blog, this time for the Chinese PLZ45 with a 155 mm cannon, planned for the upcoming major update. Let’s take a look at it!Right then, what is the PLZ45? This SPG is built around a modernized 155 howitzer with a length of 45 calibers. You may be familiar with a distant relative of this gun from the G6 Rhino, but this specific variant is new to War Thunder. It fires three types of shells: a standard HE, HE with a radio fuze, and semi-armor-piercing (SAP). The shells weigh over 45 kg, and the first two specific shells are also new to the game.We’ve decided to make the PLZ45 a premium vehicle as China currently lack a premium option for this vehicle type, it’ll likely come as part of a pre-order pack. In terms of gameplay, its abilities somewhat fit between the PLZ83 and PLZ05 SPGs, offering a middle-ground option that doesn’t significantly add to what’s already available. While its gun is more powerful than the PLZ83, its muzzle velocity is slightly inferior to the modern PLZ05. Battle RatingsThe Planned Battle Rating changes have come into effect. Ground VehiclesScimitar Mk.2 — vehicle mass has been reduced from 13 tons to 12.26 tons. (Report). The rear view mirrors have been removed. L21A1 APFSDS has been added. The 30x170 APDS-T modification has been moved from Tier III to Tier I in the modification research window. A bug that caused the Scout UAV to be missing has been fixed. (Report).9M113 ATGM — the autopilot parameters have been adjusted, the missile is now more responsive. Graphics A bug that caused shadows from trees located outside of the view to jump around when moving the camera when Ray Tracing was enabled has been fixed.A bug that caused the interface to not get hidden when entering NVIDIA Ansel has been fixed. InterfaceA bug that sometimes caused the button for switching to the nuke carrying aircraft to not show up in the action bar in Ground Battles has been fixed. Locations and Missions\ Spain — an issue where a tree and a house were blocking the eastern team’s runway has been fixed. (Report).\ Palau Islands — a bug where one of the eastern team’s spawn points could visually disappear from the tactical map has been fixed. SoundExcessive volume levels have been adjusted for certain rapid-fire autocannons on enemy and allied ground vehicles, specifically the M61 and GAU-12.Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Hey everyone!Today we’d like to cover some quality of life improvements for decals, and show you some of the new decals we’ve been working on.Decal FilteringA lot of you requested this in our last decal post and we’re happy to implement it! In the next major update, you’ll be able to filter decals and decorations and only see the ones you currently own. This should make it easier for you to sort through the available options while customizing your vehicles, thanks for the suggestion!Roundel RoundupSome of our roundel decals were quite old, many of them were in the game before War Thunder was even publicly released! These older roundels were significantly scratched and weathered which didn’t look too great.We’re currently in the process of updating these older roundels to make the weathering much less prominent and reduce the scratching to make them more suitable for use as actual roundels. There’s quite a few of them to get through, but we’re hoping to have these roundel updates completed by the next major update, though they may arrive later. Here’s a few we’ve finished already, you’ll definitely see the difference!We’re also in the process of creating some new roundels to add to
