Deformed

Hello I have just released a new horror game you can check it out here. It is short but quite scary and fun and its free!So as I mentioned before I wanted to remake deformed and deformed 2 into a single game and I have been working on that. I've spent the last few months updating and fixing all my old messed up scripts and optimizing everything. It runs much better now in the game and in the editor. It took like 30 seconds just to open a script before and now its down to like 5 seconds. And I'm getting like 144+fps always in game. The old file had problems and wasn't able to bake lights so that means all the lights in game were rendering every frame and it was horrible for fps and old computers. This remake is a very different game, the monsters and horror stuff isn't really in here, its much more focused on the people and company. It will feel much more like an adventure story. So this is why I don't want to update deformed as I want to keep that as the horror fighting game and this one like a story game. here are some pictures of cinematics I've been working on. Hello everyone I am excited to show my new game I have been working on. You can check it out here. It is very different from deformed but also similar in ways.Deformed News So it has been a while since theres been a deformed update and I will explain what happened. So basically I was working on the next update and it was really big, with voice acting, tons of optimizations and UI updates, Huge rework of the sewer and cinematics, switched to unreal 5.6, However I had a huge disk failure so the disk I had the files on I couldn't open anymore and I basically lost a few weeks of progress, I only had a backup I made a while back, It might not sound like much lost but I work pretty fast and it was kind of demotivating to redo all that again. At the end of the day there is always going to be something to improve on the game, I had already spent almost 3 years on it so it was a good time to move on. So no more updates? probably not, it would take probably months to fix it up again and the game really dosnt make much money. It has been 1 year since Deformed first came out! The game has improved a lot since its release. I'm very happy with how it turned out. My goal was to get 100 reviews and it happened. Thank you to everyone who bought it! There is still lots of stuff to improve on the game, I have been working on a new content update, mostly greatly expanding the sewer area and ending. Unfortunately I just haven't had much time to work on this game so Its going to be a while until another update comes out. If you have any suggestions or bugs please write below or join the discord.
