Hello Explorers, It’s been a couple months since we’ve released our most recent major content update, The First Ascent. Since then, we’ve also published a couple of hotfixes, most notably the one that focused on improving optimization. "That’s all nice, but when do we get the next update? And what will it include” - you ask? We’re here to answer that today! In this article, we’d like to cover both what we’re planning for the upcoming update, and what we’d like to add in the further future. The following section is dedicated to the update, and the further future features part can be found below it. Here is an overview of what we are planning to add in the next update: New bandit faction Sandbox mode (Creative mode) First steps of adding the modding support Steamer localizer (a new navigation mechanism) New unique items New enemies We can’t promise any specific dates just yet, but we are aiming to release the upcoming update in the next weeks, perhaps even as soon as late August. Hello Explorers, While we’re hard at work on the next big Everwind update, we’ve just released a small optimization hotfix to make your adventures a bit smoother. This update should improve overall performance, reduce stuttering, and help boost FPS across the game. It also includes fixes aimed at resolving crashes some players have been experiencing on Steam Deck. Hello Explorers, A new hotfix has now arrived addressing a few fixes after our Major Update the First Ascent. This update is all about making Everwind feel a bit smoother, cleaner, and nicer to play. We fixed a crash tied to the Waypoints menu, improved cockpit interactions in multiplayer, cleaned up some sneaky pirate rope issues, and gave the Repairing UI a bit of love - including better gamepad support and layout fixes. List of all changes can be found below. Changelog: Fixed a crash when opening the Waypoints menu on specific save files. Fixed cockpit interaction replication issues on multiplayer. Pirate ropes under the ceiling now spawn correctly. Improved Steamer Colossus behavior - it no longer moves away from the player when the player runs into it. Improved Mortivar Lord’s pull special attack Improved Repairing UI - gamepad support and text layout fixes. Fixed loot dropped by destroyed Iron Bars. Improved Bloater Egg SFX and VFX. Improved Grimverd Priest behavior. Adjusted the recipe for Poison Mage T2 robes.
