However, we want to give the team a little more time to polish the multiplayer experience, address the remaining issues, and make sure everything is in the best possible shape before launch.Our goal is simple: we want your first multiplayer experience to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible, rather than rushing the release before we’re fully happy with it.The extra time will allow us to improve stability and make multiplayer the version we want you to play from day one.Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. Greetings, Fountain Seekers!The glorious day is finally upon us: co-op is hoisting the sails! Starting August 31, you’ll be able to jump into the game together with your friends. Because apparently surviving alone wasn’t chaotic enough.Co-op arrives as a free update for everyone who owns the base game. To make multiplayer work properly, we’ve reworked and adjusted a number of the game’s core mechanics, specifically with co-op in mind. Please notice that solo mechanics weren’t changed at all. So grab a friend, two friends, or, dear god, three of them, decide in advance who gets blamed when everything goes horribly wrong, and prepare to set sail together.Co-op in SFOY Up to 4 players can play together in co-op.Most actions are instant — crafting and interactions use Energy instead of timers.Each player has their own Energy bar, so everyone can focus on different tasks at the same time: exploring, gathering, crafting, building, or managing the base.Sleep is shared — it only begins when the whole crew is ready to rest (and the host initiates it).Some production still takes time, such as making charcoal or drying hides, and continues in the background.Progression expands your options wi

If you signed up, check your Steam Library — your adventure awaits!Automatic approval is now enabled until the end of the playtest. From now on, anyone requesting access will get in automatically. No waiting, no paperwork, no surviving a shark interview.Fixes & ImprovementsFixed several issues related to saving and loading quests.Adjusted the balance so most actions now require less Energy.Fixed issues in the Cartography skill tree.Added various minor bug fixes and stability improvements.Thank you for all your feedback and bug reports. Survival: Fountain of Youth’s experience continues to evolve with a free update to increase the amount of fun and creativity our awesome community can have. So, we thought it would be cool to give you the chance to experience the game as you've never been able to before. You know, cutting time on some tedious processes and letting your imagination truly shine. In other words, please welcome the free construction mode with unlimited possibilities!
