Today we’re launching #BLUD’s first major content update, which comes with improvements to the quest and combat systems, mini-games, and a new feature that lets you look at behind-the-scenes content. School is in session, as the new content update is available now for FREE! Content Update Key Features: New Quests: Complete Becky’s first job downtown in order to earn some cash and discover the use behind a mysterious key. New Mini-Games: Visit the record shop for a game of Pinball, compete in Darts, or become the Flappy Bat champion with all new activities to try. Unlock the Animation Studio: Get more access to the cartoons, mini-games, and a behind-the-scenes look at the development of #BLUD through a special computer in the animation studio. Quality of Life Improvements: Experience Carpentersville at its best with various bug fixes and combat encounter improvements added to the game. First of all, THANK YOU! Seriously. Thank you for both playing our game #BLUD and for all of the detailed feedback! We’ve read through everything on Steam, Twitter, and beyond in order to address the biggest issues. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44126586/1e6aeeb5d6bc84345ab58c7f46c871b30f898976.gif We’ve done a bunch of combat improvements. We had started prototyping making Becky invincible during rolls before release, but there were issues with ground hazards preventing us from including it earlier. Thank you for your patience as we worked out the roll! In conjunction with that, we’ve shortened the animation for getting hit, so Becky can recover faster. Overall, combat should be more fluid, so you can be the vampire slayer you were born to be. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44126586/40a3680f37e1925df3128fef722c000017976c68.gif We’ve also permanently assigned a map shortcut button, and fixed a bunch of soft-lock locations. Big Improvements: Combat Improvements Shortened the basic "getting hit" animation, so Becky can recover more quickly Uppercut hit boxes are larger Uppercut (with stick) causes more damage: enemies that require 3 standard hits can
