클래식 로그라이트 장르
암흑의 제왕은 불멸자일지는 몰라도 죽지 않는 건 아니랍니다. 한번 죽고 나면 모든 걸 잃고 처음부터 모험을 다시 시작하는 게 로그라이트의 특징이잖아요? 그래도 걱정하지 마세요. 죽더라도 잃지 않는 몇 가지 물건들로 다음 판에서 업그레이드에 활용할 수 있답니다. 그리 많지는 않겠지만 말이죠.
Summum Aeterna에서는 캐릭터 및 월드 업그레이드 시스템 등과 같은 진행 내역을 이어갈 수 있습니다. 수없이 많이 죽더라도 지금까지 잠금 해제한 월드 진행도는 유지되며, 스킬 트리의 진행 내역 역시도 저장됩니다.
랜덤 월드
Summum Aeterna에는 동일 장르 사상 최초로 독특한 월드 생성 시스템을 도입했습니다. 일명, 시드 메카닉을 통해 월드를 생성하는 씨앗의 희귀도 및 씨앗에 담긴 특정 인자에 따라 다양한 행동 패턴을 가진 적과 특별 이벤트, 방대한 규모의 맵 등이 달라지는 독특한 월드가 만들어집니다.
“씨앗 인자”라고 불리는 월드 수정 변수는 각 씨앗에 포함되어 플레이어 여러분께 이로운 요소와 해로운 요소를 모두 담고 있습니다. 예를 들면, 플레이 시작 시점부터 여러분을 기다리고 있는 위험 요소와 인카운터 이벤트, 보상 등이 있죠. 이에 따라 여러분은 자신에게 알맞은 플레이 스타일에 맞추어 월드를 생성할 수 있습니다.

It's been just 2 weeks since Summum Aeterna was released in version 1.0 and we can already announce a new free DLC that will be available before the end of 2023. The new content is titled “The Witcher Awakening” and will offer a multitude of new features that will add more hours of play and fun to the current version. The free DLC will include a new type of weapon, the ornaments, magical artifacts that work very differently from the weapons, requiring players to adopt a new style of play when defeating the final bosses and the hordes of enemies. In addition to allowing access to devastating new tools of destruction, upcoming content for Summum Aeterna will also include a “seed history”. This is an interesting addition that will make our pace of play much more dynamic by being able to accurately review the challenges and seeds that we have already overcome to focus on everything we still have to do. We will share more details about this in the coming weeks. We cannot confirm the final date yet, but you can expect it at the end of this year. Long live the King of Darkness!
