MAJOR UPDATE 2.0 Hello everyone! We’re excited to announce that Stones Keeper is getting a major free update on September 14. Essentially, it will be a remaster of the original game ahead of the release of its sequel — Stones Keeper II: Chaos Lord. Our goal is to bring both games in the series up to the same standard of quality while finally giving something back to everyone who supported us by buying the original. While working on the sequel, we made major improvements to the visuals, animations, gameplay, and storytelling. Now, we want to bring those improvements to the original Stones Keeper. You can look forward to fully animated units and a story campaign rewritten entirely from the ground up. Full list of upcoming changes: Technical changes: The entire Stones Keeper campaign ported to the upgraded engine used by Stones Keeper II; New mechanics: Zone of Control and Backstab; A complete overhaul of the controls to make them more intuitive and user-friendly; Unit progression expanded from 3 levels to 6; The number of talents increased from 9 to 15; Equipment available to the human faction in the campaign expanded from 1 tier to 3, with tier 3 unlocking midway through the game. The game’s release is getting closer, and we’d like to run one final round of testing before launching the second chapter of the story. Playtest period: April 15 – April 29 About the Playtest: The Playtest version is an expanded and improved version of the previously released demo.
