Hi Climbers, We're adding features to Cairn's Free DLC On the Trail. The new climbing spots are packed with challenges and surprises, but being much smaller mountains than Kami, we've tweaked the formula to keep the tension in every climb. This means we need a bit more time, and On the Trail won't be ready for August 13th. It's still coming soon, and we will share the release date as soon as we have it. We appreciate your patience climbers, see you on the trail!

Hello climbers,It’s time for a Quality of Life update for Cairn! It includes a bunch of adjustments, new features and bug fixes that will make your experience with Cairn even smoother. In particular we are bringing tweaks to accessibility, features you asked for like the automatic finger tapping, a new feature to visualise Aava’s efforts, improvements to Aava’s getting down from walls, Climbot’s behaviour and much more. Read below for more details.Here are the major changes:Tweaks to accessibility:Ticking the No survival option will refill your survival gauges, helping you get out of a difficult situationWhen you’re in difficulty, you now have more chances to find useful loot for your survivalYou can now automatically tape your fingersThe breathing feedback option lets you visualise Aava’s efforts. Our team is monitoring your reports, and we have pulled together a new patch with the following fixes:Fixed a corrupted saveFixed some teleportation issues while using rappelFixed game soft lock if multiple controllers are pluggedFixed the HUD fully disappearing if fishing and climbing at the same timeFix for Aava going through the bridge after a run and jumpFix for Aava falling right after a mantle down Fix so that Tenzen objectives are still available even after a death in the gymFixed an issue with pausing during the troglodyte firesFixed a soft lock if walking during last climbing segmentNote: A very small proportion of you have reported issues after they update the game: crashes or problems with your save. If you are in this rare situation please head to Steam / Cairn / Settings / Installed files and click Verify the integrity of game files. This will check all the files and reinstall any missing file and should solve the issue.
