PATCH NOTES FOR AUGUST 20, 2026. HOUSING New Infrastructure Collection Added a new Infrastructure furnishing category with 28 modular pieces for creating industrial rooms, exposed utility walls, maintenance areas, and custom pipe layouts. The new collection includes: • Short, long, vertical, and ribbed conduits • Small and large elbow variations • T-junctions and cross junctions • Couplers, pipe caps, bends, and risers Compatible Infrastructure pieces now snap together automatically at their open connection points while being placed or moved. The placement frame turns green when a connection is secured, making larger pipe layouts easier to assemble and rearrange. All new items include localized names and descriptions across every language currently supported by Housing. Housing Interface and Feedback Improvements Improved purchase, placement, and crafting feedback throughout Housing. PATCH NOTES FOR AUGUST 18, 2026. HOUSING 11 New Furnishings Added 11 new furnishings to give pilots more options when building utility rooms, workshops, cargo areas, and industrial spaces. This update includes: • Battery Bank • Fuel Canister, Fuel Stack, and Fuel Reserve • Oxygen Tank, Twin Tanks, and Oxygen Rack • Hex Vent, Wide Vent, Slim Vent, and Round Vent LEADERBOARDS Ranked Score Reliability Improved how ranked ratings are synchronized and saved between matches. Additional safeguards now help keep leaderboard ratings consistent and ensure match results are applied using the latest available score. Leaderboard Presentation Improvements Refreshed the leaderboard with a cleaner and more compact presentation. This update includes: • Improved readability and spacing throughout the rankings • Gold, silver, and bronze gradient styling for the top three ranks • Smoother animations as ranking rows enter the visible area • Clearer loading feedback while rankings are being synchronized • Improved keyboard and controller scrolling Faster and More Reliable Loading Leaderboards now load additional rankings as you scroll instead of limiting the visible list to a single group of players. PATCH NOTES FOR AUGUST 16, 2026. HOUSING Faster Furnishing Flow Improved the furnishing flow to make decorating your home faster and less repetitive. After successfully placing a furnishing, the same item list will now reopen with your previous selection still highlighted. Prices, inventory counts, and placement limits are refreshed automatically, making it easier to place several items without repeatedly navigating through the catalog. Pressing Back returns to the category list, and pressing Back again closes the catalog as usual. Clearer Placement Feedback The selection frame now turns red whenever a furnishing cannot be placed in its current position. This feedback appears while placing new furnishings and moving existing ones, making overlaps, blocked doorways, room boundaries, and positions where an item cannot settle safely easier to identify before confirming placement. Smoother Catalog Navigation Improved navigation in both the room-building and furnishing catalogs. The visible list now remains steady while moving between options already on screen and scrolls only when the selection reaches an edge. Update 0.20.0 is now available. When we shared our housing progress report, you saw an early look at one of the largest additions we have ever made to Beyond Solar. Since then, we have continued adding content, improving the visuals, polishing the controls, and making sure your home feels like a real part of the game. Today, we are opening the doors: player housing is now available in the public. Build it room by room, furnish it, and make it yours. Build a Home Among the Stars Every pilot begins with a permanent Starter Cabin. From there, you can expand into a home of up to 20 connected rooms, choosing from seven additional room layouts ranging from a compact Pod to a full Grand Hall. Build upward, outward, or a little of both. Try different layouts, rearrange rooms as your plans change, and use the live house map to keep track of a growing home. If a room no longer fits your idea, it and everything inside it can be returned safely to storage. Undo and redo controls also make it easy to experiment.
