Screw Drivers 1.0 — Full Release! ːsteamhappyː It's been the craziest of all roller coasters of developing what started as a hobby project 10 years ago into a fully released game on Steam. And now, after two years in early access, Screw Drivers is now fully released!Before diving any deeper into all the new stuff and changes, let me quickly just say the biggest of all thanks to you, the drivers and builders. I got to make so many new friends along the way, be it on the discord, in the Steam forums or wherever it was. Making Screw Drivers allowed me to meet so many wonderful people sharing my passion for the joy this game brings. Good morning fellow Screw Drivers,It's been waaay too long, and I hope you're all doing well!In today's update we've got some big news to share. On August 20th, Screw Drivers will turn into a premium title and receive a large update at the same time.First off, the most important thing: Nothing changes for you, if you've already claimed the game for free!From August 20th, the Screw Drivers base game will be available for 7,99€. The Supporter Pack, that is currently available for 4,99€, will no longer be available from the same date. All other DLC will remain available for purchase at the same price they are currently listed at. All DLC, including the Supporter Pack, will of course still be available in your library if you've already purchased it. All Steam Workshop up- and downloads will remain unchanged, and you will be able to play with all your friends in multiplayer mode, regardless of if they've claimed the game for free or bought it after the switch to premium.In addition to these changes to the game, we also updated our small indie team. Good morning fellow Screw Drivers,Over the last three days we uploaded two small updates, basically patches to fix some issues with the last big update. So these are the changes we made:Fixed a bunch of bugs with chains. Now cars should not get errors or have floating chains, stop calculating etc. because of chains. There are probably still some bugs left, but I tried to fix a lot of them :)The server browser crashesd all the time. It still does, but now it restarts automatically. So multiplayer and server browser should now be working.In the multiplayer lobby, there was a lot of lagging happening. This should now also be fixed.Fixed the general settings. There was a bug, so the settings did not apply. Should work again now. This also fixes the bug, where cars wouldn't automatically calculate in the garage anymore. Just make sure that you have turned that on in the settings, then it should automatically calculate your cars in the garage again ;)Fixed the time of the Quantum Queen race. It was waaay too difficult, now it should be doable.And we added a copy/paste function to the part properties. So now you can copy the settings from suspension from one to another, or copy the s

Goood morning beloved Screw Drivers,This one is a long one, so here is a TL;DR. Only one thing to note, before you dive into all the new stuff: Since Marc and me are currently busy working another project we had to accept to pay the bills, we won't be able to work much on Screw Drivers a few months. This is why we decided to make this huge update releasing everything we've worked on so far, for you to play around with and enjoy. This means, things might still be even more bugged than usual, and some things are not finished or balanced. But we wanted you to experience all of those things, instead of having to wait a couple of months for them to be properly finished.That being said, here is the TL;DR, and below the detailed patchnotes.
