Wishlist Diplomacy is Not an Option: Fog of War so you don’t miss it! Fog of War is planned for release in Q4 2026 and will cover events that take place after one of the Rebels’ branch endings. Our protagonist has become the King of Samreignia, but now he faces a war on two fronts: taking the opportunity of the internal strife, the Gorgoth Empire and the Great Kingdom of Inverland attacked in hopes to conquer some lands. However, there’s a sliver of hope left, and Prince Connor is sent to negotiate for peace with the Gorgoth Empire. You’ll get to follow adventures of the hot-headed prince and see where his eagerness to save his country will take him. The DLC will consist of a story campaign with 10 missions, featuring two new enemy factions (the Gorgoth Empire and the Great Kingdom of Inverland), a terrifying boss monster and new characters, as well as everyone’s favourite Snoot! Let’s look at what it brings in our new video: Or read the article to learn what’s new!Starting Bonuses in the campaign As we mentioned previously, one of the main features of the Penetrative update is Starting Bonuses you can choose when selecting a campaign mission. These perks are aimed to boost the very beginning of base building and ease up early development. But if you strive for more challenging gameplay, you can choose no bonuses at all! Keep in mind that the number of perks you can take is limited by the amount of bonus points you have, which gradually increases when you progress through the campaign. As we’ve mentioned in our previous post, there’s something special among the upcoming Starting Bonuses, something really magical. Meet Morgana the Chicken Wizard! Once a simple hen, she wanted to fly and see the world. After a long and arduous study of magical spells and their intricacies, she finally became the most powerful wizard of Samreignia. From time to time your benevolent guardian will come to shower you with resources stacked neatly in random places — just come and take them! But keep in mind that to activate the bonus, first you need to get far enough into the campaign. We’ve already announced that the main feature of the next update will be Starting Bonuses in campaign — and some of you have already helped us test it! So today, we want to talk about what the feature entails.{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/37469956/923bda18d35c5c12fc3f52519cf2b9a8db617c9f.jpgWith the Penetrative Update release when starting a campaign mission you will be prompted to choose some bonuses that will provide some perks for that mission. Of course, you can’t have them all — bonuses have different costs that get deducted from the pool of Bonus Points available to you. This pool increases while you progress through the campaign, and you also get access to more powerful (and as such, more expensive) bonuses. The bonuses include: free buildings or units, some technologies researched from the start, or additional resources to help you in the beginning… and also something special we’ll mention in our next post.
