Six years and two delays later, Skate Story is finally out. On release I quickly escaped into to my dream and avoided looking at the critics. But then it started to seep through my dream. I couldn't hide much longer. Slowly, I've crawled out from under seven Moon's gleam and am smacked in the gob by the outpouring of positivity. Devolver Digital put together this accolades trailer that I'd love to share with you all. Soon, I will eat more than one moon. But for now, both you and I can eat a single moon as a demo starter for the main course Skate Story 'll ollie into our lives when it releases in December. I have nothing but respect for a Steam update that promises gameplay details then quickly melts into an impressionistic tone poem about fighting the moon. Really though, what else does Skate Story need to say? We've already known how lovely it looks since not-E3 of 2022, then we found out even more about it from a demo last year . Do you want to miss out on the action of a game that made Brendy use words like "abstract rhythmodivinity" and Graham use words like "popeye's elbow". Of course you don't. Here's the new trailer.
