Last week we released our Mid-Season update which included some changes to Infestations. We were happy to see that many of you appreciated the more visible Server Message and the reduced search area. It’s clear though that we over tuned the boss’s health without increasing the rewards enough for the extra time/resources spent.We want to do what we can to make the experience more enjoyable for everyone today and also give you a heads-up about more changes we have coming in the Fall update.Happening NowDecreased Infestations Boss HealthWe are lightly decreasing boss HP. With this change we expect that the fights won’t feel as sluggish for most players while still allowing the boss to live long enough for more people to join in the fun and get rewarded for it.Coming this FallClear Out the Enemies Meta ObjectiveWhen the Fall update releases, you will have to find and kill Infestations enemies to summon the boss. This change works in conjunction with the HP decrease above.Updating RewardsWe’re planning a small refresh to the reward pool, including increases in ammo drops, guaranteeing legendary items from mobs, and a chance for the boss to drop mod boxes.Infestation Smoke VisualWe’ll be

A new Fallout 76 update has hit the Public Test Server, and it's one we've been waiting for basically since the survival game first launched. Animal companions have long been a core part of the Fallout series, but they've always been absent from F76 - sure, you do get real players joining you on your adventures, but they're not quite as cool. After much teasing, your Fallout 76 camp pets (themselves a relatively recent addition) can now come along on your journeys across the Appalachian Wasteland, and judging by the menus, it's just the start of what we can look forward to.
