This update focuses mainly non-gameplay content such as the Mod Launcher, full gamepad support, and a Unity engine update. Story Mode is mostly complete, and we're currently waiting the implementation of certain character portraits before updating it. We will continue to refine gameplay-related content in subsequent minor updates and optimize features based on community feedback. Mod Launcher & Gamepad Support There have always been many enthusiastic players creating mods for LBoL, they are generally published onThunderstore. However, many players still hoped for Steam Workshop support, so we implemented Mod Launcher in this update. We also extend our deepest gratitude to all mod developers in the community, though the mods would need to be reuploaded through the Workshop to test things out. Note that the mod launcher isn't currently supported on Mac platforms, we plan to implement Mac support in a couple of weeks from now. Gameplay Changes The Removal Price Cap introduced in v1.3.11 has been removed. With the addition of Prepare in v.1.6.1, removals have become more frequent, no longer less so than other deckbuilders. As Dream Catcher's current effect is satisfactory for now, we'll introduce new exhibit with its previous effect of fixing the Removal price if needed. Unleashed Potential and Philosophy of the Despised no longer apply the Exile keyword on their affected cards. Unconscious Amnesia now correctly causes a discarded Peak Perfection to draw cards. If Closed Heart's intent concealment is dispelled, the revealed intent now properly displays its name. Reworded Reflection and Static Charge to state they trigger specifically from attacks (the statuses themselves are unchanged) Lock On from Dream Youmu (Doremy) is now properly applied after all other enemies have acted. v1.7.1 Font Update 4/10 v1.7.1.10410 This update is for the Beta Branch only. To access the beta, right click the game on the Library and go to Properties->Betas->Beta version. Font & Localization Updates We're adjusting font substitutions when changing languages. This may break text strings on select languages, so we're putting this on the Beta Branch alongside a minor update. Other Updates In most scenarios, cards that ask the player to select multiple cards will display the order of resolution for the chosen cards. Mainly useful for cards like Philosophy of the Despised. Cards sent to the discard pile from Scry effects aren't sortable and thus Water Blanket Upgraded cost loosened: 1U→1U/2. Tanuki Suwako's Frog now displays the card it was transformed from as a related card. Card tooltips now note both colors of two-colored cards, as well as card colors for character cards. Fixed darkened exhibits like Apple becoming brightened again when restarting a combat. Hovering over an enemy will put their UI on top, in the case that they overlap. Smart Speaker now adds a clearer icon to the card it's affecting.
