Garden of the Sea (VR): Save directory fix, the Garden of the Sea VR saves are now properly saved separately from the non-VR version of the game NOTE: If you own both versions of the game on Steam it is recommended that you do a full reinstall of the VR game That is all! 😊 We hope you’ll continue exploring beautiful things in Garden of the Sea! Garden of the Sea (as we suspect most of you know) was originally released across various VR platforms but through our desire to bring it to even more players it brought the creation of our first ever non-VR title. Translating the game from VR to a more traditional format has been full of challenges and enjoyment both! We won’t go into deep detail on that today (though I’m sure we will in the future!). For now we just hope you will all enjoy the fruits of our creation in Garden of the Sea! For our seasoned players, we hope this will allow you to introduce the world of Garden of the Sea to your friends and family that might have yet to be able to experience it! For those of you who already own Garden of the Sea for VR but want to give the game a go playing with gamepad or mouse and keyboard we've set up a bundle that should allow you to get the non-VR version at a permanent discount. Hello everyone!! We revealed some super duper exciting news at the Wholesome Direct this weekend: Garden of the Sea is getting a non-VR version!! We know some folks have been eyeing our game, which was originally released in 2019, but don’t play in VR, or have wanted to share this game with friends who don’t have VR. We also know that we’ve gotten such a lovely reception on our cozy farming sim that it felt like a waste of an opportunity to not try making it playable for way more people. So behold: later this year, we’re releasing Garden of the Sea, with all of its original features and charms, on Steam! It will have mainstream controller support, and SteamDeck compatibility, so you can just sit back and relax while fishing, watering your plants, or petting the native creatures that live on your island. We hope you’ve enjoyed a look at our game that’s chock full of fun things to do and relaxing vibes (which we could all certainly use more of during these times)!
